Maurice Wilks tested a prototype (in 1947) for what has become one of the world’s most successful off-road utility vehicles in fields at Red Wharf Bay just across the road from Ysgol Dwyran.

I believe this event is members only but I suspect if you aren’t a member and want to attend, Joining and paying the event fee will entitle you to participate. Entry fees will go toward our nominated charity after MSA permit fee per participant.

CLRC Promotional Off Road Trial.

Only two weeks until our club trial on Sunday 20th November 2011.
We have an application for MSA permit so contact us for more details on how you can participate. We are raising money for Leighton Hospital via Little Miss Ellie Prince for ward equipment like specialist baby cots and other items. Trophy for the winner and we always welcome people who have interests in Marshalling, photography, scrutineering and competetors alike.

Run to the lights! Blackpool illuminations.

I think today is the day that Cheshire Land Rover Club were doing the annual Run to the Lights! Blackpool Illuminations are brilliant. Some members have said they will travel up today and rendezvous with others meeting at approx 19:30. Please see the club forum for more details. The forum is members only but of course Blackpool is access all areas for everyone
